Our Kids Cooking Camp Program is the only culinary education program for kids with a comprehensive curriculum in all of NW Indiana.
We truly teach a life skill.
Our unique cooking camps and their curriculum
were created to teach kids all parts of cooking with sanitation
and food safety being in the forefront!
The classes are very hands on and very age specific.
Our Kids Cooking Camps are offered 2 times per year:
Winter & Fall
The Winter & Fall session information:
-Offered in February & September
-We meet once per week for 6 weeks.
-Each class is 1 1/2 hours
*Rolling Pins & Oven Mitts meet for 6 weeks and the classes are 1 hour*
*All other grades meet for 6 weeks and the classes are 1 1/2 hours*
-Each student will receive their very own Cooking Camp Folder to keep all recipes, handouts and homework.
-We will cover kitchen and food safety, sanitation, nutrition, set up & clean up and so much more
-It is a very hands-on, age appropriate curriculum
-Although we do not disclose the weekly menu's beforehand, the kids will make at least 2 - 3 courses each week
(We make a lot of food! They will have leftovers for you to try.:))
-Our classes are held in a true commercial kitchen setting. This is not "entertainment cooking." Although we laugh a lot and have a ton of fun, we follow all rules of a true commercial kitchen.
-It is designed in a way that as your child grows and moves up through the classes, they will learn different tasks and enhance lessons already introduced
-Please know that there are very specific rules per age group that go along with kids in the kitchen.
(Ex: at what age can kids cook over any kind of heat?
Or work with a knife and what type?)

-For all age groups - this is a drop off/pick up. Parents do not stay.

Due to the unique nature of our Kids Cooking Camp curriculum, we cannot allow children to participate outside of their current grade level.
*The ONLY exception to this rule is if I've worked with the child for 2 or more sessions. The child will have to be placed on a wait list until children in that grade level register for the class.
*We also offer a ON MY OWN Cooking Camp for High School SENIORS only. We teach them basic meal prep, shopping on a budget and how to be creative with left-overs, etc. This camp is designed to teach students going off to college or staring in the work world how to eat healthier.

2) Return both forms to us with your payment either by email or by stopping in.
3) Once payment and forms have been received, we will send you a confirmation email.
