Kids Cooking Camps

 Did you know that our Kids Cooking Camp program, is Trademarked? No other facility can teach our curriculum! Ms. Gina invented it! The curriculum, it's content and most of the recipes!


We offer THE ONLY culinary education program for kids with a comprehensive curriculum in all of NW Indiana.
We truly teach a life skill.

You can find other single "cooking classes" for kids, but there is only 1 place that offers the complete deal!


Our Kids Cooking Camps are offered 3 times per year: 

Winter, Summer & Fall

The Winter & Fall session information:

-Offered in February & September

-We meet once per week for 6 weeks.

-Each class is 1 1/2 hours

-Oven Mitts will meet once per week for 3 weeks on 

Fridays for 1 hour


Summer information:

-Offered in June

-We will meet for 3 consecutive days for 1 hour each day.

-Summer session is designed as an introduction to our 6 week camps (offered in Winter & Fall) and as practice for our repeat students.


 -Each student will receive their very own Cooking Camp Folder to keep all recipes, handouts and homework.

-We will cover kitchen and food safety, sanitation, nutrition, set up & clean up

-It is a very hands-on, age appropriate curriculum 

-It is designed in a way that as your child grows and moves up through the classes, they will learn different tasks and enhance lessons already introduced 

-We invite parents in on the last camp of each session for the last 20 minutes. You are able to take pictures and sample what they made that day. We invite you to stay and view the short  certificate ceremony.



REGISTRATION for WINTER will open on December 12th. Registrations are taken on a first come, first served basis.

Important Information:

Due to the unique nature of our Kids Cooking Camp curriculum, we cannot allow children to participate outside of their current grade level.  It is also not fair to take a spot away from a child that is truly in that grade.  :)

*The ONLY exception to this rule is if I've worked with the child for 2 or more sessions. The child will have to be placed on a wait list until children in that grade level register for the class.


*We also offer a ON MY OWN Cooking Camp for High School SENIORS only. We teach them basic meal prep, shopping on a budget and how to be creative with left-overs, etc. This camp is designed to teach students going off to college or staring in the work world how to eat healthier. 


Maximum of 10 students per camp

How to register:

 1) Contact us by phone or email to request a registration form and medical release 

2) Return both forms to us with your payment either by mail, email or by stopping in.

3) Once payment and forms have been received, we will send you a confirmation email.


OR


Go to the REGISTRATION page, download the registration form and a medical release.

Fill them out, return them them to us and you can pay right there with PayPal.
